A Black Woman Was Followed Around The Streets of Turkey
Another day — another controversy…
In this one, a stunning dark-skinned Black woman rocking a big, beautiful afro, shows a day in her life in Instabul, Turkey, as she walks down the streets.
She is literally treated like a sight to behold, as the locals follow her around, ask her where she’s from, ask to touch her hair, ask to take photographs with her, and snap photos of her as she casually strolls through the streets.
You would think she was a celebrity — people even argue at some point about who gets to take the next photo with her…
Of course, this video got Black Twitter all in a tizzy.
The majority of people thought she was wrong to think there was nothing wrong with her experience, or to even delight in it. There were comments that the locals were going to use her image to caption with the word monkey or the n-word.
People commented that they were treating her like she was at a petting zoo.
