A Good Guy With A Gun Finally Stopped A Bad Guy With One
Another day — another mass shooting. This time the shooting occurred in Greenwood, Indiana at a shopping mall. The shooting occurred at Greenwood Park Mall at around 6 pm.
Now — I can add shopping malls to the list of places I am afraid to go into.
On a lazy Sunday afternoon, while people, including families, were enjoying themselves in a mall food court, a man walked in and started shooting.
What’s wrong with people?
The gunman had a “rifle with several magazines of ammunition.” A man in the food court at the time said people were pushing, and literally running each other over, in an effort to get away after someone yelled shooter.
Mass shootings, at this point, are just another day in America.
The unidentified man killed three people and injured two others before being shot by a lawfully carrying citizen. Four people died in all — including the mass shooter.
Greenwood Police Chief, Jim Ison said, but I’m going to tell you, the real hero of the day is the citizen that was lawfully carrying a firearm in that food court and was able to stop this shooter almost as soon as he began.
