A Man Attempts To Kill A Woman, Records It, And Claims It Was A Prank
Another day, another WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE moment….
A man pushed a woman into Lake Pontchartrain, where she struggled to breathe and make it back out of the water alive, and he also recorded her emerging from the water.
In the now viral video, the woman is seen emerging from the murky water, where the currents look high, struggling to breathe, terrified, and naturally, emotional.
She emerges from the steps leading to the lake crying, trying to cough up water, and struggling to catch her bearings.
Thankfully, her face is blurred out in the video.
For reference, Lake Pontchartrain is a brackish estuary situated in southeastern Louisiana. It covers 630 square miles with a depth of 12 to 14 feet. Like this article states, the lake is risky for swimmers. In a span of two weeks, three people died in the waters in 2015. It was also noted “swimmers have been lost nearly every summer in recent years.”
As she crawls up the steps leading out the water, he chides her, “come on now,” and says, “I got you now.”
She yells, “you threw me in the fu***** water!”
He says, “it’s just some water…you’ll survive.”
