All Women Should Love The Way They Look
Yes, all women. Yes, it’s important and necessary.
I’m tired of women being down on themselves…and no woman should EVER call herself ugly.
Yes, there is something wrong when a woman calls herself ugly. And while beauty is only skin deep, meaning that it’s what’s on the inside that counts, we are given a shell for a reason.
It’s a shame how women have been conditioned to view ourselves and think about ourselves: our bodies, our faces, our features, our hair, our skin tones, our age… We are conditioned to look for the negative — or what’s lacking. We often overlook, or ignore, the positive. If a woman you know thinks her breasts are too small, or that her butt is too flat, you’ll know it. Because she’ll obsess over it, mention it randomly, use it as the reason she doesn’t wear certain clothes, or actually consider plastic surgery or exercise to change it. Yet — if she loves her legs, or her eyes, you probably won’t know that. Either because she’ll never say it out loud, or because she’s too busy focusing on her flaws, to give herself credit for what she actually likes.
Also, who teaches us what to dislike, or even like, about ourselves? It’s usually some voice from the outside — like the media, society, men….
