But no woman in her right mind should have ever called in and asked Kevin Samuels for advice. He couldn’t give advice to my dog. It’s never what you say but how you say it, and Kevin Samuels was full of hate and disdain for Black women. I don’t believe in all that “high value” nonsense but if you as a woman wanted to play that game, then by all means, join the circus, and call in and listen to what Kevin Samuels had to say. I’ve known enough people from enough walks of life to know there are many who think just the way he thinks. Lishone does rant but she makes valid points too about men not being the prize and women not needing to be “pick mes” like the unfortunate women who called in to Samuels show to be degraded, verbally abused, and humiliated. I’m not going to mock this man in death but he was myopic and superficial, taught nothing of substance, and died with a strange woman in his bed. Besides staying in your lane, which is not bad advice by the way, he taught nothing else. Like literally nothing good as least.
