Sorry, l’ve been contemplating death lately.
Not mine, personally
but in general.

Is it fair we should wake up one morning,
and let’s say,
prepare for the day,
taking extra care of our hair,
and planning family dinner,
only to not return before the small hours?

Or, what if we decide to buy a new sofa,
or fall in love,
or take ballroom dancing,
or reconcile with our fathers,
or travel to Spain,
only to fall victim to a chance accident?

Or worse,
you wake up one day,
and decide how to cook your eggs,
and get out the shower,
only to get a phone call
you didn’t expect…
