Donald Trump has been promoting violence for over eight years, and on Saturday, someone grazed him with a bullet.
The party of “thoughts and prayers,” and “we have to move on” when schoolchildren get murdered at school, suddenly got woke.
They were enraged that someone would “attempt to assassinate” their president. Especially in the immediate aftermath when the country wasn’t sure if he was severely injured, and they believed the shooter was a Democrat.
When they learned that Trump was okay, and the shooter was a 20-year-old registered Republican, their tune suddenly changed. Or, rather, it went radio silent.
I doubt, however, that they would have ever switched over to wanting gun control. It’s too much money to be made from the NRA, and they need their rifles for the race war.
Yet, political violence was okay, and funny, when The Left was on the receiving end.
The Capitol Riot, aka The Insurrection, left nine people dead in its aftermath and was the result of Trump’s Big Lie. Yet, Trump won’t condemn these people. Instead, he wants to pardon them and calls them “hostages” and “warriors.”
