Donald Trump & White Men’s “Unconditional” Law
We all know there’s two Americas and two justice systems — maybe three. There’s Black America and white America. Then, there’s the justice system for white America and the justice system for Black America. I would like to add a third one for each — the rich white man’s America and the rich white man’s justice system. Rich white men like Donald Trump rarely face the appropriate consequences for their actions, and sometimes they face none. Furthermore, sometimes they’re rewarded for their bad behavior. After a disastrous four-year term as president, an attempt to overthrow the government, and 91 felony indictments, over 77 million Americans voted for Trump in last November’s election.
Donald Trump experiences both —the rich white man’s America and the rich white man’s American justice system. Clearly, the law does not apply to Trump and neither do social norms. Furthermore, simply because he’s white and male, Trump was able to fool various groups of American society into believing he could lower grocery costs, change America’s healthcare system with “concepts of a plan,” bring peace to the Middle East, stimulate the economy, and bring jobs to Americans. Trump won’t be able to do any of this. The only promise he will be able to deliver on is separating immigrant families and “deportations,” even though many will probably be deported to somewhere right in the U.S. for…
