Five Daily Habits You’ll Never Regret Doing
I let these habits slide recently, and my quality of life decreased greatly
Waking Up Early
The early bird does get the worm. It’s just something about waking up early. In fact, the earlier the better. Nothing beats that time you have in the morning to yourself to be calm before the day starts. I feel a clarity and focus at the beginning of the day that I don’t feel at any other time during the day. In fact, if I’m working on a writing assignment, I can get more done in two hours early in the morning than I can accomplish in four hours later in the day.
Working Out
I don’t think anyone has ever said they felt worse after a workout. I mean unless they overdid it — injuring or harming themselves — nothing is better than a good workout. Getting oxygen to your brain. Releasing endorphins. Working up a sweat. If you’re stressed, anxious, depressed, fatigued, or feeling any other negative emotion, working out will put you in a better frame of mind. It doesn’t matter if you walk, or only work out for 10–15 minutes, you will feel the difference. This is a habit that has never failed to improve my mood and energy levels.
