How the Writers of You Convinced Us to Root for Joe and Love

I can’t be the only person who went into the third season of You hoping, in the back of my mind, that maybe, just maybe, Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn would make it work. Maybe they had met their perfect match in each other. Sure, they weren’t perfect; but they were perfect for each other. (Yeah, that was corny.) Maybe they would stop killing people who they believed got in their way. Or, maybe, just maybe, people would stop getting in their way.
