I can’t stand “I did it, so, so can they” Black people. “I’m from the hood, but look at me now.” Or “my whole family is successful and we’re Black.” Because they’re ignoring a lot of what makes them successful. Especially since Black people have to be exceptional to get what mediocre white people get easily.

Anyway I used to watch a lot of those cooking shows. They’re all racist. Not only in representation, but I’ve seen the white contestants throw the Black ones under the proverbial bus.
