I don't have any kids, but everyone I know who has them, wants to leave them something behind. That was one thing that our parents were not expected to do--leave something behind for us, or even give us something like a down payment on a house. I could imagine that would be stressful, as I think it is so important for us to build generational wealth for future generations. Also--my sister says she sees so many Black men as patients who are literally working themselves to death. She tells them that they need days off, or even more care for an issue, but they won't listen because they say they have to work, or they have kids, or their wife is sick. And she doesn't know what to say to them. But--you have to always take care of your health, mental and physical, or you won't be there for anyone. I agree that Black men should prioritize their mental health more and discuss it with each other more.
