I don't think he should have responded in any way that would have led to his arrest and I do understand him saying he didn't want to go to jail...or that he wasn't going to hit a woman. She knew this, and this is why she targeted him. I'm not sure why he's being commended instead of this woman being arrested for disturbing the peace and banned from this stadium. That's the happy ending we all need to see.
