I don’t think the bigger problem is that he misstepped or misspoke. It’s the people trying to act like he didn’t say anything wrong—the typical pickme’s and misogynists who are the problem. I hope Simone nor her husband fit into either category even though they doubled down on him saying nothing wrong. I think they can make it work, in a way that’s healthy for both of them, if they acknowledge the problem and work on it.
