I have never thought that Dave Chapelle was funny and have gotten into many arguments with people about that. He is not funny to me. I think the Chapelle show was toxic to the Black community and obviously he agreed because he turned down millions of dollars and walked away. I really don’t appreciate his brand of humor. Period. As far as his special was concerned, I do agree with him that you can attack Black people and keep your position, but you’re canceled for attacking the LGBT community.

With that said, I think it was gross how he manipulated the death of his “friend” to make himself look good, and he’s definitely transphobic and homophobic. He gaslights by saying he’s not and that’s one of my biggest problems with him.

If you don’t like trans and gay people, just say that.
