I think everyone is free to their opinion--especially when it comes to a topic like abortion. Being pro-life could also be your choice. I don't think people are fear mongering when they warn about what the Republicans are trying to do with women's reproductive rights. They have plans. When people warn about them--they're called alarmists--until their plans actually come into fruition. There was a time when it was said Roe v. Wade would NEVER be overturned--not in any state. They are already working on ways to make it illegal for women to cross state lines to get legal abortions. You're right that you are not obligated to care about any of this. Women's rights are in jeopardy now in the US.
