I think if you see anything as making Black people look bad, you don’t see Black people as individuals and are too concerned with the white gaze. However, I do think these shows are not good for the minds of anyone, even though I do watch them, and that they do have negative impacts on the youth. Just like rap/hip hop has for decades. They’re too dominant in the community and I don’t think they’re for young people.
