If you’re going to act like I’m not making any valid points, then you’re the one with the agenda. I was providing nuance and asking uncomfortable questions. Yes she is responsible for her words and actions. Yes I think in her case, she showed contempt and implicit bias. Moving on from her, that doesn’t change the validity of the other things I said. When Black women say these things, do you think they’re all misandrists, and just making stuff up. Are you completely unwilling to reflect on my points. Do you want to tell me you’ve never witnessed Black men doing the things I pointed out? Do you ever correct them? I shouldn’t have to research to find Black men who come against Kevin Samuels even though I do know for a fact they exist. I heard of them before and after he died, but they were not vocal enough. It was a Black woman who made change.org petition to have his show removed. I know you know of his followers and know how vocal they are. You know what I’m talking about. Do you not think it’s unhealthy? Do you not think it’s WAY too many of them? There are way too many vocal, obnoxious, and hateful followers of him and far too few men checking them. Wouldn’t it have been nice if Black men banded together against him more vocally, to the point where he didn’t feel so comfortable, or if there had been a campaign by Black men to have his show pulled?
