I'm actually kinda fascinated by this topic. I hate filters, and to be honest, I hate the instagram face/look. It's so unnatural and I don't understand wanting to look like everyone else. I think there's beauty in uniqueness. However, I do think there are some beauty standards that are universal, and not race dependent. With that said, I think people should be free to alter their looks however they see fit, as long as they know it won't change the inside, or change psychological problems. My dad actually got the blepharoplasty, insurance covered. He says it's to see better. I'm not so sure.
