I'm responding to what you wrote. You insist Whoopi is anti-Semitic, and part of your proof is that a lot of Black people are anti-Semitic also. I was wondering why you drug all of Black people into this, and you're not the first Jewish person on here, Medium, whose made the claim that Black people, in general, are anti-Semitic. I found a piece by James Baldwin where he discusses Black people being anti-Semitic and it seems personal based on the treatment of Black people by Jewish people in his community. I didn't grow up around Jewish people. No Black person I know even speaks on Jewish people. I don't think Whoopi was being anti-Semitic and I definitely don't think she meant any harm. You said that's infantilizing Black people, but every other group of people gets the benefit of the doubt for being ignorant of other races and cultures, and what's viewed as offensive. Whoopi is not the only person, especially the only Black person, who did not know Jews weren't considered white. As it's been said in defense of Whoopi, when you fill out your race on anything, Jewish is not an option. I'm not saying Jewish is not a race, but let's not act like its not reasonable for Whoopi to have thought that. You didn't mention the anti-Blackness of Jewish people, in the USA or Israel, in your article, so it seemed like you were saying anti-Semitism from Black people is a one-way street, or founded on pure hate and rage as you called it, when that's definitely not the case.
