He thinks he is.
I knew Trump wanted to be a dictator or an authoritarian fascist leader, but I did not know he wanted to be a king. I’ve had concerns that America would be turned into a dictatorship but not a monarchy. Donald Trump is really playing in the American people’s faces. Recently, he coronated himself on his social media platform, Truth Social. Simply because he abolished something called “congestion pricing” in New York City, King Trump posted —

The White House’s X account thought it would be funny if they too got in on the “joke” by reposting what Trump said along with a fake Time Magazine cover with Trump as a king.
Trump has said out of his own mouth that he wants “his people” to sit up at attention when he speaks. Yes, he refers to American citizens, including those who would never cast a voter for him, as his people. In 2018, during an interview with Fox News’ Fox and Friends he said —
