I’ve Been Eating Sweets for Breakfast Since the World is Ending
Don’t judge me.
I might be a little dramatic when I say the world is ending but I do believe the world as we know it is over...at least for the immediate future.
Every week I hear of another person dying from COVID. These aren’t people on the news, but people I know or know of. It’s draining. It’s terrifying. It’s sad.
For the past two months, I’ve lost my will to diet and work out.
I don’t care and I don’t see a point.
I’ve gained ten pounds. Maybe its some form of COVID depression. I don’t know. As a person who’s been depressed before, eating sweets for breakfast is the least of my worries, so I’ll take it.
This morning I had Jamaican rum bread pudding. Yesterday and the day before it was fresh warm chocolate chip cookies from the oven with Mountain Berry Blast Powerade. They go together. They just do.
On Monday, I had two Klondike ice cream sandwiches. On Tuesday I had marshmallows and a Hershey’s chocolate bar with almonds.
It was all delicious and it all has improved my mood this week.
When life isn’t sweet, eat something that is…
