I’ve been planning to write about this movie. Not sure why he keeps making the same “mistakes.” I can only come up with that’s his style and that’s how he wants his movies to go. Maybe it doesn’t come off dumb and over the top to him like it does to the majority of people. Or the gag is that’s why people who genuinely enjoy his work like it. My mom loves his work. I do too. But my mom genuinely enjoys it; and yes, his style is also “foolish” to her. I just wonder if he’s actually being serious or thinks “stab her” is good movie making. Because that part was the worst to me also😩
