I’m glad Donald Trump picked JD Vance as his running mate. He’s been a disaster since he was announced as Trump’s choice for VP. Vance, the author of Hillbilly Elegy and a U.S. Senator (Ohio), has been called the Sarah Palin of this election. You remember Palin. She was the governor of Alaska, kinda dumb, and celebrated by many Obama supporters as the factor that cinched his victory in 2008.

Yesterday, JD Vance said that Vice President Kamala Harris can “go to hell.”

Yes, you read that correctly. The man running for Vice President said that the sitting Vice President can figuratively, and probably literally, go to hell. That’s strong language.

Like most blatant and egregious disrespect that’s been directed towards Harris from the right, you won’t see it widely covered by the media, or by those who write about politics. I was surprised by how little attention was paid to reports that claimed Trump had been calling Harris a bitch behind closed doors. I think that’s a big deal. Not too long ago, that type of language against your political opponent was unheard of, no matter how dirty your political ads got. Yet, here we had an ex-president calling the woman he was running against a bitch in front of anyone within earshot.

I wrote about it.
