These women grow up anti-Black. They don’t choose Black men. Black men choose them and they go for it because they’re pedestaled and Black men like to play in their hair. This adds to their disdain for Black women. And many Black women are no better—defending Mena, worshipping her looks as well, and agreeing that Spice, a beautiful Black woman, looks like a monkey because she has a different phenotype from what they too think is beautiful. It’s a low rent show watched by people with low rent opinions. I am officially done with that franchise.
