This Is Why I Don’t Think The Ryan Coogler Situation Was Racially Motivated
So I guess I’m choosing violence…
And I will start off by saying Ryan Coogler did nothing WRONG…
Director/producer/screenwriter, Ryan Coogler, went to a Bank Of America in Atlanta to withdraw 12,000 dollars in cash from his bank account. He clearly has the money, so there shouldn’t have been a problem.
Under any other circumstance, if the police are called on Ryan Coogler, or any Black person, for withdrawing money out of their own account, I would say it’s wrong.
Well…
What had happened was…
He slipped a little note, either along with with his withdrawal slip, or instead of his withdrawal slip, asking for the money to be counted discreetly. I’m guessing that this was done so that no one else in the bank would see him being handed such a large amount of money.
Yeah okay. I get that.
This is how Ryan looked at the bank. He had on sunglasses and a cap.
