Trump Threw a J6 Bash This Weekend
Hey, why not?
When I used to repeatedly state in my writings that Donald J. Trump was not going to spend a second in jail for any of his crimes, I was worried that I sounded negative or jaded. When I constantly wrote that the polls were not lying, and Trump would be reelected despite all 91 indictments (then the one conviction on 34 charges), I worried again that I sounded negative or jaded. Of course, there were people in my comments who would tell me that Trump’s legal woes would derail his chance of reelection, or that the Democratic party would find some way to keep him out of office. I didn’t believe it. While I’m not from Missouri, the “show me” state, I go by what I see. Nothing sticks to Trump, who I like to call the “Teflon Don,” in reference to another thug, mobster John Gotti. Then, of course, there’s the fact that he’s managed to become a demagogue and his supporters don’t care what he does wrong. In fact, the more he’s “persecuted,” the more they support him. It’s been a reliable and documented cycle since the moment he entered the political scene.
Four years ago to the day, Trump incited an insurrection after he lost the presidential election to Joe Biden. Trump’s plan was to get his vice president, Mike Pence, to stop the certification of the electoral college vote. When that didn’t happen, Trump sent his violent and loony supporters…
