What I would say about repercussions being handed out to Will Smith is that there are consequences for actions. They just need to be fair. Why take his Oscar when you haven't taken the Oscars of known rapists, pedophiles, and abusers? That wouldn't be right.

I don't agree with Kareem Abdul Jabar. The actions of one Black person do not affect all of us. That's a white supremacist talking point. Jabar's son stabbed a sixty year old man. I would say that's definitely a reflection of him, but that might not even be fair.
