While I am a traditionalist, no one in the Black community can deny the aspect of matriarchism that exists. Why it exists, that’s complicated, but do not blame the Black woman, and disparage her, for the position many were left to carry. And did. And like you said, many of these men complaining come from single mother households themselves. With that said, Black women don’t owe Black men as a collective anything. Yes I said it. For those on the right page, of course. For the others, they will be treated on an individual basis.
