White supremacy is the animal that makes the ideological belief that all men and women are created equal impossible. Don’t flip this on Black people. I don’t know if you’re familiar with the 1619 Project, but the essays go into detail about how cruel white America has historically been to Black people because they’re afraid if we become the “top dog” we’ll do to them what they’ve done to us.
