Wow. I really enjoyed this. It reminds me so much of my all time favorite children’s book, Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters. Tammira reminds me so much of Manyara, only Tammira meets a much worse fate. I don’t know if this is a folktale or your original story but it blew me away. Your writing is beautiful, and I did not know what to expect. It was a great read! I don’t know what I did to deserve being mentioned at the end of your story, but thank you!!!
