Yeah "average" doesn't make a man good, just like "average" doesn't make a woman good. There are shitty people, male and female, who range on the scale from 1 to 10. Try to be the best version of yourself and hope you meet a person whose the best version of themselves and compliments you. Don't even consider society's standards, because I agree, that will mess you up...
