You’re Not Racist Because You Don’t Like Meghan Markle
The conversation around whether Meghan Markle is being treated unfairly or not has nothing to do with whether people like her or not.
It has nothing to do with whether she’s calculating, self-righteous, or a phony “actress” who puts on an act instead of being genuine.
Also, let’s make it clear. People don’t get to call her a whiner or a complainer. You don’t get to say she’s playing the victim.
Why? Because she has been the victim of racism, a smear campaign, and mental and emotional abuse at the hands of “the royal family,” and the public, and that is not up for debate.
She is not wrong for standing up for herself against a country, media, and family who set out to destroy her. And let me be frank, I don’t give a damn about the royal family. They are not beyond reproach. In fact, they deserve all the smoke. Not just for the way they treated Meghan or Princess Diana, but for all the nations they colonized, stole from, and left impoverished. If the British family is just a face for the government at this point, so what, they still inherited that stolen wealth, and they still do a lot of dirt.
So let’s not pretend that they have some moral high ground, or that Meghan Markle should have been honored to marry into that family. That’s that racism talking…
